I’m a lifelong musician, and have played guitar for over 55 years. I originally taught guitar at Sound City in Lincoln in the early seventies, but became involved with music production and video production as my main occupations.

Now that I’ve retired from the Lincoln Public Schools, I hope to bring the joy of playing guitar and making music into people’s lives. I’m most interested in teaching adults who have wanted to play all of their lives, or who have played a little bit in the past, and want to brush up on their skills. Of course, that doesn’t mean that I won’t work with younger students!

Throughout my life I’ve always performed with local groups, and am familiar with Classic Rock, Blues, Country, and Contemporary Christian genres. Students will be encouraged to help choose songs and styles of music that they learn.

I currently perform with:
The Wheezetones
Creation Praise Band at St. Mark’s
The Pinkertones
The Gears
