Jaime Tyser grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and completed her Bachelor of Music degree in performance at the University of Missouri at Kansas City Conservatory and her Master of Music degree at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Jaime has played with numerous ensembles including the MahlerFest Orchestra, Palm Beach Opera, Omaha Symphony, Lincoln Symphony, Sioux City Symphony, the Omaha Brass Ensemble, Plymouth Brass and the Palladium Brass Quintet. She was a National Trumpet Competition semi-finalist in 2009, winner of the 2009 Lincoln Municipal Band Young Artist Competition, as well as the 2008 Lincoln Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition. Along with performing she has provided instruction for students of Meyer Music in Kansas City, UMKC Community Music and Dance Program, Omaha Conservatory of Music and Cazadero Performing Arts Camp in California. Currently, she is the third trumpet for the Lincoln Symphony and Plymouth Brass, actively freelances in the area, as well as serves as a dental program coordinator for a dental office.
