Nicholas Mettler

I am an accomplished licensed music educator specializing in string orchestra and music technology. My degree is from the University of South Dakota. I have performed with professional groups in South Dakota and Nebraska, worked with live sound and recording engineers. I have also performed with various bands as an accomplished bassist and guitarist in theatre, jazz, and rock.

 I currently reside in Omaha Public Schools as an orchestra educator, and a consultant for Music technology in OPS. I coach secondary students for music competitions and broaden skills in one-to-one lessons. I teach core skills to beginning orchestra students as well to prepare them for secondary music, and music beyond school.

At Dietze, I primarily teach cello, electric bass, and guitar at all levels. I also teach intermediate violin, viola, and upright bass.
