Alvarez Artist Series AJ80CE Jumbo Acoustic/Electric Guitar

Alvarez Artist Series AJ80CE Jumbo Acoustic-Electric Guitar — Natural

Big, blonde, and built to fill a room — the Alvarez AJ80CE is a powerhouse jumbo acoustic-electric that delivers the kind of full, open sound that only a truly well-built large-body guitar can produce. Topped with a solid spruce top, driven by Alvarez’s proprietary FST2 bracing system, and equipped with the outstanding LR Baggs StagePro EQ and Element pickup, this is an instrument that performs as impressively plugged in as it does unplugged — at a price that makes it one of the finest values in acoustic guitars today.

Key Features

• Body: Jumbo cutaway — maximum volume, projection, and bass response with upper-fret access that most jumbos can’t offer
• Top: Solid Sitka spruce — powerful, open, and responsive with the FST2 forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing system for a larger vibrating soundboard area, greater energy, and exceptional treble/bass balance
• Bracing: FST2 scalloped X-brace with asymmetric tone bars — developed in Alvarez’s Yairi workshops for optimal resonance and projection
• Bridge: Bi-level rosewood design with increased string break angle for improved tension, response, and feel
• Nut & Saddle: Real bone throughout for superior tone transfer and tuning stability
• Electronics: LR Baggs StagePro EQ with Element pickup — professional-grade live performance tone optimized for the stage
• Fingerboard: Indian laurel for smooth, comfortable playability
• Finish: Thin natural gloss — applied as thinly as possible to let the soundboard resonate freely
