Fender Chrissie Hynde Telecaster®

Fender Chrissie Hynde Telecaster — Rosewood Fingerboard, Ice Blue Metallic Deluxe

Chrissie Hynde didn’t just play a Telecaster — she weaponized it. From the opening chords of “Precious” to the driving rhythm work that made The Pretenders one of the most enduring bands in rock history, her battered ’65 Tele became as iconic as her voice. Now Fender has built an exact tribute to that guitar, and it’s every bit as cool as the woman who inspired it.

Key Features:

• Vintage-Output Chrissie Hynde Tele Pickups — Custom-voiced single-coils tuned to match the character of Hynde’s original ’65 pickups, delivering gritty, mid-forward tone with enough output to cut through a full band mix
• Custom Mid-’60s “C”-Shaped Maple Neck — Faithfully replicates the profile of Chrissie’s actual guitar, offering a familiar, comfortable feel rooted in vintage Fender tradition
• 7.25″ Radius Rosewood Fingerboard — The classic vintage radius that rewards chord players and rhythm guitarists with natural, low-action comfort
• Faded Ice Blue Metallic Road Worn® Lacquer Finish — Thin nitrocellulose lacquer with authentic Road Worn aging gives this guitar a lived-in look right out of the box — because the best guitars look like they’ve been played
• Chrome Mirror Pickguard — A striking, era-appropriate detail that matches the distinctive look of Hynde’s treasured original
• Alder Body — Balanced, resonant tonewoods that keep the focus on the guitar’s punchy midrange and natural sustain
