Ibanez SR400EQM Standard Series Electric Bass Guitar

Ibanez SR400EQM Standard Series Electric Bass Guitar

The SR series has earned its reputation one gig at a time — slim, fast, and built for players who need a bass that keeps up with them. The SR400EQM takes that proven platform and adds a quilted maple top in stunning finishes like Surreal Black Burst and Dragon Eye Burst, giving you an instrument that turns heads before you play a single note and then backs it up with serious tone and versatility once you do.

Key Features:

• PowerSpan Dual Coil Neck and Bridge Pickups — Passive dual-coil pickups designed for wide tonal range and strong output, delivering warm, full neck tones and punchy, defined bridge sounds with excellent note clarity and balance
• 3-Band EQ with 3-Way Power Tap Switch — Ibanez’s custom onboard electronics give you active bass, mid, and treble control, while the Power Tap switch lets you shift between single-coil, dual-coil, and parallel configurations — an extraordinary range of tonal options built right into the instrument
• 5-Piece Maple/Walnut Neck — Multi-laminate construction adds rigidity and stability, minimizing dead spots and maximizing sustain across the entire fretboard
• Quilted Maple Top over Nyatoh Body — The quilted maple veneer delivers dramatic visual impact in every finish option, while the nyatoh body underneath provides warm, resonant tone with mahogany-like low-mid character
• Jatoba Fingerboard with 24 Medium Frets — Smooth, fast, and slightly bright, helping the bass cut through a mix with definition and clarity
• Ultra-Slim SR Neck Profile — At just 19.5mm thick at the first fret, this is one of the fastest-playing necks in its class — a genuine advantage for players who spend long hours on the instrument
• Accu-Cast B300 Bridge — Precise intonation adjustment and solid string anchoring for consistent feel and tone
• Cosmo Black Hardware — Sleek, modern hardware finish that complements the dramatic quilted maple top beautifully
