Here’s the Yamaha FG820:

Yamaha FG820 Acoustic Guitar

The Yamaha FG series has been one of the most trusted names in acoustic guitars for over 50 years, and the FG820 represents a meaningful step up from entry-level instruments — delivering superb projection, outstanding volume, and a warm, rich tone that rewards players as they grow. With a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and Yamaha’s newly developed scalloped bracing, the FG820 is a full-size dreadnought that’s equally at home in the hands of a dedicated beginner and a player upgrading from a smaller starter guitar.

• Top: Solid spruce with newly developed scalloped bracing for enhanced resonance, superior projection, and a well-balanced tonal response
• Back & Sides: Mahogany — warmer and stronger than entry-level tonewoods, delivering a rich, full voice with natural midrange depth
• Binding: Cream plastic body and fingerboard binding for an upgraded, refined aesthetic that sets the FG820 apart from basic beginner models
• Finish: Gloss natural
