INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

Caleb is a musician and songwriter specializing in guitar, piano, electric bass, and ukulele. Born and raised in Lincoln, NE, he has been playing in different bands and groups since the age of ten, and playing music his whole life. First taught piano and then guitar by his father, he went out on his own to learn and master his musicianship by working with teachers from a variety of different styles and instruments in order to gain the experience he has today. He believes that every student learns differently and will adjust how he teaches to best fit each student’s way of learning.

Caleb can teach any style of music, but primarily specializes in rock & roll, metal, folk, bluegrass, and funk for guitar, whereas he specializes in classical and pop for piano. He believes at least some level of ear training and music theory are very important to anyone’s musicianship, and would love to go more in depth if someone desires. Caleb has been teaching for four years, playing guitar for 15 years, and piano for 20 years. He welcomes people of all ages and experiences.
