INSTRUCTOR PROFILE

I am a self taught musician of many years. I grew up listening to my parents spin Motown records- and from that point on I was hooked on music. I have always had a great love for instrumental albums, with my musical taste expanding from R&B, Metal, and Prog. Rock, to Classical Music and Flamenco.

My teaching focuses primarily on beginners, and helping them love guitar and music. I approach lessons by teaching the major and minor scales, and the creativity of chords that you build off the scales  while learning the beauty of not knowing what they are but knowing your in key and working your way to a resolution by improving your own composition

It’s been a blessing for the past few years I get to share techniques from my view point, such as proper picking technique and the importance of making a note sing to the best of one’s ability.
