Fender Custom Shop 1954 Telecaster® DLX Closet Classic

The year 1954 represents one of the most fascinating transition moments in Fender history — the last gasp of the original black phenolic pickguard era before the all-new Stratocaster arrived and changed everything. The Fender Custom Shop 1954 Telecaster DLX Closet Classic captures that precise, fleeting moment in time with meticulous attention to detail, delivering the clarity and twang of an early ’50s Tele with just a little extra power under the hood — and a Closet Classic finish that makes it look like it’s been lovingly stored away for the past 70 years.
