Fender American Performer Stratocaster® HSS

Fender American Performer Stratocaster® HSS

Made in Corona, California, the American Performer Stratocaster HSS is built for the player who wants genuine Fender quality with modern performance upgrades baked in. It’s not a vintage recreation or a boutique showpiece — it’s a working guitarist’s instrument, loaded with thoughtful enhancements that make it more versatile, more playable, and more expressive than a standard Strat.

Key Features:

• Yosemite Single-Coil Pickups (Neck & Middle) — Handcrafted in Corona and specifically voiced for each position, these pickups deliver the clear, chimey Strat tones you expect with exceptional musical usefulness across a wide range of styles
• DoubleTap™ Humbucking Bridge Pickup with Push/Pull Coil Split — The bridge humbucker adds punch, warmth, and hum-free performance, while the push/pull pot unlocks true single-coil tones without any volume drop — giving you HSS versatility and single-coil Strat snap in one instrument
• Greasebucket™ Tone System — Fender’s unique tone circuit lets you roll back the treble without losing gain or muddying your signal, so your tone stays defined and usable at any setting
• “Modern C”-Shaped Neck with Satin Finish — A comfortable, versatile neck profile that suits almost any playing style, with a smooth satin back that keeps your hand moving freely
• 9.5″ Radius Fingerboard with 22 Jumbo Frets — The slightly flatter radius is ideal for bending and soloing, and the jumbo frets make wide, expressive bends easier to execute
• ClassicGear™ Tuning Machines — Vintage aesthetic meets an 18:1 gear ratio for smooth, precise tuning that holds reliably under heavy playing
• Alder Body — Balanced, resonant tone foundation with natural midrange presence and tight lows
