Green Tones Beginner Drum Set

Percussion kit - 4 piece with one piece curved base - 2 drums, wood block and guiro scraper, and cymbal

$54.99

This set of four instruments nestled onto a beautiful base is perfect to get your budding percussionist playing and creating rhythm. With two drums, a bright “high hat” cymbal set and a multi-timbre wood block there are a variety of sound options for unlimited creativity. Ergonmically designed base measures 12.5″ long and fits easily on a lap or table. Both drums can be removed from the base and played separately for more play options. Multi-ply steam-bent wood base is crafted from chemical free mango wood with a non-toxic, clear-coat finish over German-made, VOC free water-based paint. At Green Tones we believe that every child is born with innate musicality and through nurturing music will grow in your child. Studies show that music is beneficial for critical cognitive development in children. Imagine a thick forest with no clear pathways through it – this is like the developing brain of a child. Now visualize the pathway being forged, neurologically, every time you musically interact with your child. The “music channel” is similar to the “language channel” in that it needs to be stimulated every day in order to grow and be strong. As one of the oldest professional musical instrument companies, we believe that every day is a good day for music play. At Green Tones we are passionate about providing a musical foundation that incorporates the highest quality sustainable woods that are beautiful and safe for your child. From sustainable products to giving 1% of our profits to groups caring for the environment, we are committed to doing the right thing for you, your child and our planet. Green Tones is owned by Hohner, Inc., the professional musical instrument company established in 1857. As part of a company with a tradition of musical excellence, Green Tones maintains the Hohner heritage of encouraging active music making through the use of engaging, child-centered instruments.
